Autumn Family Portrait Special Offer

€50 Session Fee + 10% Discount on Prints and Storyboards

It’s a perfect time to get out and have a Family Photo Session: autumn is here and the woods look fantastic; it’s bright and still warm outside.

This October we’re offering special discounted rates on all session booked from now until the end of the mid-term break.

For €50 you get a full Family Session anywhere in the Cork. We’re also offering a 10% Discount on the Gallery Price list for print orders placed at your viewing after your session.

There are many spots around Cork for great Outdoor Family Photo Sessions. We’ve worked in Currabinny, Rostellan, Fota Gardens and even more suburban locations like Fitzgerald’s Park and the Japanese Gardens. All we need is somewhere you can be free to relax and play and we can capture your family at their best.

You might also consider some of our great local beaches at this time of year: Myrtleville, Rocky Bay, Garretstown or the Dock Beach have all worked well for us in the past.

But if you have your own favourite spot that your family know well then why not get photos taken there.

Weekend sessions are available but with limited availability. The promotion runs through to the end of the October Mid-term break so you can also schedule a session while the kids are off school (3rd November).

The Session Rate of €50 applies to family sessions booked between 4th October 2013 and 3rd November 2013
The 10% Discount applies to the normal Gallery Price List and is only applied to products ordered at your viewing session (subsequent orders will be priced at our normal rates)
In the unlikely event that the weather isn’t great the day of your session then we’ll re-schedule (I don’t mind getting a bit wet but there are some days when it’s just not going to happen). The offer will still apply to rescheduled sessions even if they have to get taken after 3rd November.

Looking for a Unique Family Portrait?

In time for the start of the summer holidays, I am pleased to announce the start of my Portfolio Programme.

The Programme is aimed at producing a range of unique family photographs based around a theme which is special to each family.

I want to talk to families with a shared passion for something – something which is personal to them and is a major feature in their lives on a regular basis.

Together we’ll use that as a theme for a family photo session featuring all the family and elements of whatever it is they do. We’ll choose the location and the timing of the session to suit the theme.

Whether you’re mad into surfing, GAA, music or whatever, I want to hear your ideas for a family photograph with a difference.

As with previous promotions, I want to use these images for my own publicity on the web and in print. In return for your time, the session is free and you’ll get a framed print as well.

So before you head off to do whatever you do best this summer, think about whether you’d like some great pictures to remember it by.

Families Wanted for Spring Photo Shoots

Get a Free Session and Framed 8″x12″ Photograph

I am looking to get new, fresh images of kids having fun outdoors this Spring. I’m thinking kids playing in bluebell woods, kids with daffodils, cherry blossom – all that kind of thing. I want to use these pictures on the web site and in promotional literature to publicise the outdoor sessions going forward.

So I’m looking for a number of families in the Cork area who are interested in getting involved in an outdoor photo session this Spring. In return for your involvement, you get a framed 8”x12” picture the shoot.

We’ll have some fun outdoors with the kids, I get some great photos to use for my own publicity and you get the artwork as a thank you.

Families of any size with kids of toddler age upwards can apply – just as long as you’re up for it rain or shine!

Just e-mail me your contact details, number and ages of children and rough geographical area. If you have a favourite park or forest (or a big garden) that would suit the session then I’m happy to take suggestions for locations as well.

Sessions will take place from mid March to the end of April, depending on the weather and when exactly spring actually ‘springs’. Weekends are fine if that’s the only time that suits your family.

I want to do as many of these sessions as I can before First Communions start in May so you only have a short time to book your session. Contact me now to set a date:

Card Tricks

I was sent this photo by a client who ordered Birth Announcement Cards as part of a baby session:

Poor Rosie doesn’t look a bit impressed by being out numbered by her own image. Thanks to Dad for sending me this picture.

At home, we’ve been sending personal cards with photos of the family on for years – especially at Christmas. It has been a delight to call to people in distant lands and find one of our cards still on the fridge, the mantle or even framed on the wall.

I know my wife will soon be telling me straight that I’d better get on with this year’s Christmas Card.

Premium Greetings Cards with an image from your session can be ordered in batches of 20 for €50

However I also offer a deal which includes a short photo session at a location of your choice (in Cork) plus 20 cards for €80.

Discounts apply for larger batches of cards.
